William C. Dr. Ackerman takes a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care, using advanced technology and evidence-based practices. Dr. Ackerman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and graduated with his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He performed his ophthalmology residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham/Eye Foundation Hospital. Dr. Ackerman is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who has been a leader in adopting and implementing the latest technologies relating to cataract and vision correction surgery, not only in the State of Georgia but on a National level. Dr. Ackerman has performed tens of thousands of surgical procedures, including but not limited to laser vision correction, cataract removal, corneal transplants, glaucoma, and eyelid surgery. He also has extensive training in glaucoma therapy, which he received through working with the top international glaucoma specialists. He has been involved with international relief missions restoring sight in underprivileged parts of the world. Dr. Ackerman has lived in Gainesville, Georgia, since 1994 with his wife and three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys bird dogs, bird hunting, fly fishing, and fresh and saltwater fishing.

Leroy W. Robinson, III, is a skilled Doctor Of Optometry at Advanced Eye Care — a modern ophthalmology and cataract surgery practice in Gainesville, Georgia. Dr. Robinson takes a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care, using advanced technology and evidence-based practices. Dr. Robinson is a Gainesville native who received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Georgia Dahlonega Campus in Dahlonega, Georgia. He completed his Doctor of Optometry and Internship at Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Robinson also completed an externship at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. He has extensive experience in full-scope optometry treating all types of ocular disease, cataract pre and post-operative care, LASIK pre and post-operative care, and contact lenses. Dr. Robinson has been involved with Special Olympics and annual service trips with SVOSH to improve vision in underserved countries. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor sports, particularly soccer.

Ealeen H. Kim, OD, is an experienced Board-Certified Doctor Of Optometry at Advanced Eye Care — a modern ophthalmology and cataract surgery practice in Gainesville, Georgia. Dr. Kim takes a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care, using advanced technology and evidence-based practices. Dr. Kim always listens to her patients and treats their vision issues with knowledge and compassion. She received her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Also, she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry (UC Berkeley School of Optometry Professional Program). Dr. Kim provides comprehensive eye exams and specializes in contact lenses. She has extensive experience fitting various disposable soft, rigid gas permeable, and scleral contact lenses. She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Georgia Optometric Association (GOA). Dr. Kim speaks English, Chinese, and Korean. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and cooking new recipes.
